I am a student in the Multimedia@CPH class in the Fall 2011 semester.

Prior to taking this class I

• started using computers since I was about five years old
• fully used Windows ME, XP, and 7
• know how to fix basic situations on a computer as well as easy hardware fixes and a few advanced situations
• know the difference between a RAM, processor, and video graphics cards
• set up intensive computer video games with a surround sound system and joy pads
• know how to compare different hardware parts
• DJed and experimented with different musical production programs such as Ableton Live and trakAx PC.
• know a bit about sound cards
• produced videos for events
• helped people buy the right computer at a reasonable price
• can distinguish differences between anti-viruses
• am experienced with the Windows XP paint bitmap program and can create quality bitmap graphics
• know how to use Microsoft Office
• can tell if someone is scamming you online
• helped an elder use the computer

Now that I took this class first semester, I learned how to:

• incorporate traditional sketching techniques into making bitmap graphics
• re-size images
• use basic techniques in Photoshop like
